Why an EKG Is a Completely Different Category

An EKG doesn't take a picture of anything, it's tracking electrical signals, the rhythm your heart's beating in, whether that rhythm looks normal or shows signs of a past issue. Takes a few minutes, stickers placed on your chest and limbs, done. It's not checking whether your heart's structurally fine, whether valves are working right, how well it's actually pumping, that's an echocardiogram's job, which does use ultrasound technology despite being a heart test specifically.
